Background
1982 - Interact foundation.
1983 - First shared savings contracts signed between Interact and companies and institutions, around 1 mw to 3 mw, becoming the first "esco" (energy service company) in Brazil.
1994 - Initiative and support in the pioneer project in Brazil of Dixie Toga, based in BOT system (build, operate and transfer) in order to build a 138 kV substation with US$ 1.3 million of investment.
1996 - Dixie Lalekla received the FIESP Award of Conservation and Rational use of energy regarding the performance of the shared savings contract signed with Interact.
1998 - Presentation of the Dixie Toga project at the Power Gen in Dallas, Texas (USA) .
2000 - Launching the first energy site in Brazil (www.guiaenergia.com.br), which has quickly become reference in this sector, both for its content of local news and information, and for its partnerships with important international institutions.
An article published in the World Power 2000.
2001 - Papers published in the magazines "Energy Engineering" and "Strategic planning for Energy and the Environment".
2002 - Presentation of a paper in the "25th World Energy Engineering Congress". Article published at the magazine "Instalações Elétricas."
2003 - Article published at EnergyPulse.net
2005 - Consolidation of clients formed by companies with annual electricity bills over R$ 3 Million. Mainly food, packing and steelworks industries with demand between 3 MW and 10 MW. Since clients pursue more economic solutions among the available alternatives, themes such as energy contracting from the public grid, captive or free, and the efficient use of the contracted energy become important issues.
2006 - Giving that the clients recognized the need of being prepared for an energy restriction scenario in Brazil, consulting job turns to “protection” alternatives. Such as price hedging and energy supply (on-site). Energy supply contracting becomes more complex.
Experience
a) 15 years of consulting services in "inside the fence energy savings" projects - i.e., in companies and institutions that hired Interact to reduce their costs with energy, involving demands from 200 KW to 20 MW in almost every field of business.
b) 3 years developing "power projects", working for an American utility company that was interested in investing in energy generation and cogeneration projects in Brazil, typically between 10 MW and 100 MW and involving gas and steam turbines, oil and gas motors of internal combustion.
c) Promotion and completion of dozens of energy related events, including seminars, lectures, congresses and courses.
